POWER OF THE HORSE: One-Off Bugatti Brouillard revealed

This is the all new, one-off creation by Bugatti: the Brouillard. Unveiled during Monterey Car Week 2025, the Brouillard marks the launch of Bugatti’s most exclusive program, Programme Solitaire, where bespoke coachbuilt creations transcend the already mind-boggling quality of the marque.
Named after Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse, a thoroughbred so clever it could open its own stable door courtesy of a mechanism the founder designed, the Brouillard channels its equestrian muse with more than just words. Every contour and curve of this coupe breathes Bugatti heritage, marrying the art of coachbuilding with modern technology in a a way few manufacturers can even dream of.
Under that sculptural body lies one last hurrah for the famed quad-turbo W16 engine: an 8.0-litre beast tuned to displace roughly 1,600hp before Bugatti begins to transition fully to the V16 era with the upcoming Tourbillon. Built on the Mistral’s platform, the Brouillard couples the power of its mechanical heart with equally as credible design, making it arguably the most exclusive and personal Bugatti ever built.
Absolutely no detail has been left untouched. In the cabin, you’re greeted by equine motifs etched into the doors and seats, a tartan patten sourced from Paris, and even a glass-inset gear shifter featuring a miniature sculpture of the horse himself. It’s pure craftsmanship transformed into raw emotion. The exterior theme shows a rich green-tinted carbon weave paired with polished aluminium, under a glass roof that floods the interior in light.
Here’s the real kicker: it’s not one of a series. This ultra-exclusive hypercar was created for a single commissioning clients, as part of a plan to produce only two such artistic beasts per year. It debuted at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, reminding the hypercar world that there’s still a place for pure, analog, mechanical beauty in a market being swallowed by electrification and digital interfaces.
In a world chasing modern technological advancements, the Brouillard stands for heritage through the form of a single car breathing legacy, talent and untold wealth on four wheels. Simply put, it’s a living, charging tribute to the romance of Bugatti’s past and the artistry that made it just so legendary.
