Hillside Auto has researched some of the most exciting and anticipated events of the whole year, which all land on this one very exciting long weekend.
FRIDAY, 3RD OF OCTOBER
Open Pitlane @ The Bend - All DAY
It’s time for another Open Pitlane day at The Bend Motorsport Park. Gather your helmets and prepare your car for a cost-effective option to see some track action on one of Australia’s greatest racetracks. Passenger laps are being offered throughout the entirety of the day, and you’ll be sure to find an array of unique and interesting racecars taking it to the limit on The Bend’s International Circuit.

Adelaide Hills Rally Show @ morphett Street, MOUNT Barker - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Round 5 of the Australian Rally Championship takes to the Adelaide Hills, and kicks off with a free Rally Show at Pop Up Park in Morphett Street, Mount Barker on Friday night. Get the opportunity to see the Rally field up close and snag an autograph from acclaimed drivers including two—time Dakar Rally winner Toby Price. Grab yourself a drink and enjoy some food whilst live music accompanies the rally lineup, before a ballot draw for the top 3 starting positions. Following this, the cars will all be ceremonial flagged off over the ramp as a momentous start to the 2025 Adelaide Hills Rally.

Saturday, 4th Of October
Nurioopta Grand Prix Circuit Revival - ALL DAY
This year marks 75 years since the 1950 Australian Grand Prix, which was held on the historic Nurioopta Circuit. To celebrate, the Sporting Car Club of South Australia is hosting a homage to South Australia’s motoring history, by holding a Nuriootpa Grand Prix Circuit Cruise & Lunch, The event will provide attendees the rare opportunity to cruise the historic circuit before enjoying a relaxed lunch alongside fellow Club Members and motorsport enthusiasts.

Adelaide Hills Rally Spectator Opportunities - Charligate, Wattle Flat & Strathalbyn - all day
Get geared up for a day full of dirt rally action with multiple dedicated spectator stages across the Adelaide Hills region, as part of the Copyworld Adelaide Hills Rally. Make your way to the Charligate Special Stage early on Saturday morning, located just off Gladigau Road, between Mt Torrens and Harrogate. Then, travel to the scenic Strathalbyn Service and Regroup where you will have another chance to get up close to the rally field and have a chat to the competing teams. End the day with another dedicated spectator stage on Wattleflat Road, just off of Alexandrina Road and out of the Ashbourne locality.

Redline x Jorge Maestro x Red Bull Meet @ MAwson Lakes UNISA - 6:30pm
Redline Crew is back for another meet and cruise in collaboration with Mexican catering masters Jorge Maestro and Club Sponsors, Red Bull who will be handing out free Red Bulls all night long. The UniSA-backed club invites all types of JDM, Euro and Supercars into the Mawson Lakes University Campus for an underground style meet, before departing for a spirited night cruise through the Adelaide Hills and surrounds at 8pm.

Adelaide Hills Rally Power Stage - 4.30pm
Held close to the Service Park at the Summit Sports and Recreation Park, this year’s Power Stage is the adrenaline-pumping highlight of the 2025 Adelaide Hills Rally. It runs on a shortened version of the iconic Back Callington Stage, with the final section being able to be viewed from the Stop Point, inviting spectators right into the heart of the action.

Barossa Vintage Collingrove Hillclimb
The annual Sporting Car Club of South Australia Barossa Vintage Collingrove Hillclimb returns for another year, in a fantastic celebration of classic and vintage vehicles as they attempt to tackle the infamous Collingrove climb. With exciting action and off-track activities for the whole family, this event makes the perfect excuse to adventure into the Barossa region whilst celebrating our local history of racing.

Monday, 6th of OCtober
Woodside F1 Revival - 11:00am - 2:00pm
Get down to the town of Woodside in the Adelaide Hills for a celebratory re-enactment of Australia’s very first F1-style race, the 1951 Woodside Grand Prix. Come and watch various era-cars, exotics and supercars take to the circuit in a true celebration of racing heritage, all as part of a free community event thanks to the Sporting Car Club of South Australia.
