A SLOW DAY AS A: Hillside Motoring Journalist

Running Hillside Auto might look like it’s all cars, cameras and adrenaline, but most days start quietly, with a coffee, a laptop and a list of things that need doing. Between filming, editing, writing and managing social content, there’s always something happening behind the scenes that keeps the stories rolling and the passion alive. 

In this short ‘Day-In-The-Life’ style video, I wanted to share what an average day actually looks like when I’m not out filming road tests or interviews. From investigating analytics to washing the car, to editing late into the afternoon, it’s a mix of creativity, organisation and the everyday rituals that fuel Hillside Auto. 

While we love supercars and launch events, the processes that connect them all are just as valuable. The moments where ideas form, projects take shape, and the quiet hours that make the exciting ones possible. It’s a small glimpse into the rhythm of running an automotive media brand from home, one day at a time.
